The Official Bristol City
Football Club Band
Homepage The Instruments

The band contains lots of different instruments. The band contains three different instruments which belong to the Brass Family and of course the Drums from the Percussion Family.

Brass:-
Paul plays the Euphonium. This looks very similar to a Tuba but however it isn't.

James plays the Cornet. The Cornet is similar to a Trumpet which most of the other band members play. A cornet however is smaller because the pipes are wound up more than a Trumpet, making it shorter. It still works the same using valves.

David plays the Trumpet. This is a longer instrument compared to the cornet. Again this instrument works using valves. A Trumpet gives out a much larger sound compared to the Cornet because it has a much larger end known as a Bell.

Finally we have the Percussion Section. David, John, Mark and Shaun are our drummers. The drums which are used by all of these consist of Toms and Snare drums. Both are very loud and are what keep the band together and in time.
