Comments: Willie, was killed in a pit accident at the Station Colliery, Larkhall, on March 26, 1890, when only aged 13. Another boy threw his bonnet under a wagon as a prank and when Willie tried to retrieve it he was crushed by the wagon. Another William was born two years later in 1892 but died aged one year.
