Comments: Sarah was very numerate and worked in the accountancy department of Arnott Simpson, Argyll Street, Glasgow, part of the House of Fraser Group. Sarah, also known as Cissie, attended Machanhill School and Larkhall Academy, having been born at 25 Burnhead, Larkhall on the 19th August 1930. Sarah's father was Robert Marshall Nutt of Larkhall and her mother was Hannah Frazer of Auchinleck, Ayrshire. She had a younger sister, Mary, who died at an early age from Scarlett Fever.
